LIFE OF A RECRUITER

I wake each day dreaming of numbers
Walk the way thinking all this will alter
Make my life feel so good
What I end up getting is the LM’s bad mood

Oh then it makes me feel that I need to be on toes
The next day I call and make people stand in rows
He just meets a hundred and says I need more
I get feeling upset in spite of the outpour

I search the sky reach out to the stars
To bring in that resource who can help me win the war
I pay him the double of what he needs
He makes me wait to finally mislead

Drop out, No show change in dates is what I hear
Will I meet the deadline to really adhere
SLA, Scorecard a wonderful System
That makes me work like in times of Adam

Life is it fun only at my shop floor
Down in the midst it is all uproar
Do I want to quit it is a NO NO
I still love to be a recruiter and not as lost as a widow

With all tributes to my darling recruiters……..

VOTE YOUNG INDIA VOTE

It is the right of every Citizen
To vote like a true Indian
Help in creating a true democracy
Removing all fears of hypocrisy
Let’s help in emerging the India of future
Creating leaders who will try and nurture
Our Country and its people to the best
Help in laying all enemies of the soil to rest
This is the leader you need to Vote
To say who it will be, is not my Quote
Go through their mandate and read their mission
Do not be carried away with their wrong intention
Each one will give long speeches to rule
It will be like hearing things right from school
Use your discretion and your knowledge
Refer your elders and give them the privilege
To teach you on what the country needs
From an elected leader who will be the seed
Of growth for this nation so democratic
His vision and mission the valuation metric
Remember that your vote needs to make its mark
To elect Leaders who have the spark
For leading our country to be a super power
And let the world look at us for ever
So my friend cast your vote
Stamp your mark and do denote
Your vote should change the Indian history
And pray that it leads to Victory..

MY SAVIOUR

The Lord keeps me always in his sight
Being the Light during the night
He is with me, whatever be my plight
Supporting me with Strength to fight

The devil cannot lure me again in sin
For he has taught me how to win
The desires of the flesh that has been
My weakness no more to be seen

He teaches me and shows me the way
A thousand things through me he says
I am his instrument day by day
He has moulded me like a potter with clay

Their lives in this Holy God
Who was Moses, Jacob and Elijahs Lord
If we listen to his word
He will make us his living sword

To fight the darkness and save his own
Who he wouldnt leave and disown
Do not be anxious and always mourn
For he is the saviour with the thorny crown

He alone can release our bondage
Make us free and get us engaged
In his love and merciful grace
That be with us to leave its trace

MUMBAI CALLING

Wounds that never heal
Cries that make one lose all his zeal
Sounds of pain rain the air
Making all watchful hearts tear

Blood and debris all strewn around
Body parts not to be found
Humans torn in anguish on sight
This was the financial capitals plight

None would have thought such gory things
For the extremists it is a vision they cling
Thinking killing can dampen spirits and bring fear
But Indians we are who can take any pain to bear

No distinction of caste and creed for a helping hand
For all was one, in the devastated land
Shouting instructions, lifting, rushing the wounded ones
The only goal to save the Indian sons

Extremists take a second look at your motive
Indian spirits never dampen with such votives
We are all one under the Indian sun
And such cowardly acts we always shun

People come forward with all your might
Throw away resentment and these extremists out of sight
Never again they should touch any Country men
For we will rise and throw them out of their den

60 years of Indian Independence
28 States and none dependant
One great nation that people cherish
Where peace and harmony strive, and the enemy perish
The Indian brain spread all over the world
Makes the Country the proudest of all


Gandhi, Nehru such great leaders
60 years back they were the trend setters
They fought their fight for today’s peace
Which came to us with no ease
Their hardened stands gave us this liberty
Without which India would not have been mighty


A vibrant political democratic
With 6 great religions and beliefs that are static
We surged ahead into nuclearism
Leaving behind yesterdays realism
Peace loving leaders with formidable thoughts
To build a great nation from the naught


This is the India we all now vision
These will be the future Indian youth’s mission
A resurgent India with a globalize economy
Growth at all levels with no monotony
Industrialize, computerize make the nation grow
Educating the poor and teaching them to sow


Let’s strengthen the arms of every Indian
With education imparted to the millions
All the villages booming in stature
That is the India grown and mature
Peace and harmony reign in our motherland
All Indians forever live hand in hand

YET ANOTHER YEAR COMES TO END
WITH IT THE JOY AND SADDNESS WE LEND
NEW THINGS DID, AND NEW PLACES SEEN
BRING REMINISENCE OF THE YEAR BETWEEN

FRIENDS WE MADE, AND NEW STRIVES IN LIFE
WILL MAKE US LEAD TOWARDS THE HIVE
TIME AND AGAIN OUR STEPS WOULD HAVE FALTERED
TEACHING US NEW THINGS IN LIFE THAT NEED TO BE ALTERED
